Mr. Dilip Charegaonkar, the Founder & Managing Director of Anchrom is an analytical chemist by profession and is product specialist in India since 1979 for CAMAG, Switzerland & Mitsubishi Kagaku Iatron Inc., Japan, and both world's leading chromatography product manufacturers. A very long association indeed !
Anchrom is the only dealer of scientific equipment in India, which has its own foreign Principal recognized Applications Lab.
Within the field of High Performance Thin Layer Chromatography, we are well diversified e.g. apart from India, we also sell in neighboring countries . In our laboratory, weanalyze samples for Indian and foreign customers , training courses are conducted for Indian customers and for Asian countries. All technical staff employed (currently 15) is postgraduates in Chemistry / Biochemistry, Pharmacy etc.
Anchrom haspioneered the concept of being customer oriented, in the Indian scientific equipment suppliers community.
In India, our branch offices are located in Ahmedabad, New Delhi, Kolkata, Hyderabad , Chennai, Bangalore & Nagpur and Head Office in Mumbai.

APPLICATIONS LAB
Regional support unit for Asia and Australia
Since 1994, the Anchrom Applications Laboratory has been used by CAMAG for training their dealers and customers from countries in Asia, the Middle East and Africa . Based on the performance and ‘customer delight' CAMAG has now established a CAMAG Regional Support Unit for Asia and Australia headed by Mr. Dilip Charegaonkar, based in Mumbai.
Laboratory activities Anchrom's lab has a dedicated team of analysts and equipped with the latest HPTLC equipment from CAMAG. Customers use our laboratory facilities for a variety of reasons such as: • Third party opinion

Aid to Doctoral students We also encourage academic endeavors – several doctoral students have benefited through free use of our laboratory facilities. Some are further assisted with a monthly stipend.
Industry segments catered In our laboratory, the emphasis is on R & D analysis and feedback based on the analysis. Pharma, bulk drugs, pesticides, dyes, textiles, leather, intermediates, herbal products, foods, specialty chemicals, forensic analysis, are some of our important customer industries.
CAMAG REGIONAL SUPPORT UNIT (CRSU)
Anchrom is entrusted with supporting CAMAG in Asia, Africa and Australia in terms of technical assistance, methods development, seminars, training dealers & customers, installations, exhibitions etc. Anchrom experts have visited Middle East, S. E. Asia, Australia, S. Africa, Nigeria, and Turkey on behalf of Camag. Trainees to our lab have come from Egypt, S. Arabia, S. Africa, Korea, Thailand, Indonesia and Australia .
AFTER SALES SERVICE
After sales service is the pride as well as the bedrock of Anchrom's market credibility, reputation and success . Adequate amounts of electronic spares and consumables are stocked to reduce customer MTBF's (Mean Time Between Failures). Our dedicated staff is up to date in their knowledge and expertise. Camag trained engineers carry out maintenance, up gradation and validation. In Dec. 94 a service training course was conducted in Mumbai for CAMAG's S.E. Asian dealers.
India is a big country, and to be able to cover all customers effectively requires considerable planning. Our Resident Representatives are based in Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Nagpur, Chennai and New Delhi and are thus able to effectively cover the whole country.
With a huge base of over 275 capital equipment installations, 400 customers of our laboratory and several hundred customers of smaller products all over India, we are thoroughly well versed with the Indian market. We now intend to leverage our domestic expertise and knowledge to globalise.
